Mohale Motaung Biography

Mohale Motaung is a South African entrepreneur and actor who found fame as the spouse of reality television judge Somizi Mhlongo.

Mohale is gay and bold to be. But it wasn’t so in the beginning. He knew he was gay from grade 4. Still, it wasn’t until he gained admission into the university and started living alone that he better understood his sexuality and began associating with like-minded people.

Mohale Motaung Biography 2

Age

Born in 1994, Mohale Motaung is currently 26 years. He’ll be 27 in July, and he’s so looking forward to that day.

Last year, he had a wonderful time with Somizi. With the singer and Idols SA judge currently out of the picture, what would Mohale’s 27th birthday look like?

Net Worth

Mohale Motaung is doing pretty well out there. His exact net worth is, however, still a subject of speculation. Although we’re unable to give an exact figure, we count Mohale as one of the millionaires in the industry – based on his assets.

Mohale Motaung Biography 3

Girl Friend

Fans often wonder if Mohale Motaung has a girlfriend, especially since he, a gay bod, once disclosed his desire to have a biological child of his sometime in the future.

At the time of writing this, Mohale Motaung does not have a girlfriend as we know it. The person who could have passed for his girlfriend – or rather who was at some point – is no other than Idols SA judge Somizi Mhlongo. The two dated briefly and then got married. Unfortunately, the marriage was short-lived, as Somizi ditched Mohale soon after. Somizi complained that Mohale wouldn’t leave his phones alone when they were married.

Mohale Motaung Biography 4

Child

Mohale Motaung might be a man and gay, but he has dreams of one day having a child of his own. While he was married to Somizi, a fan had inquired if he would have a child with the Idols SA judge.

The media personality had replied in the affirmative, stating that he and Somizi would adopt a child. However, he also made it clear he would like to have his biological child. How he would accomplish that, he didn’t tell. He made it clear he didn’t want to be bothered with questions on how that would happen.

With Mohale Motaung and Somizi having broken up, the coast seems clear for Mohale to have the biological child he spoke of, or else hook up with another bod and adopt – or both.

Divorce

Earlier this year, when rumours of divorce hit town, Mohale Motaung had laughed it off, stating that he and Somizi are still very much together, although they might not have been seen together often.

Speaking to the Citizen about the divorce, Mohale had said, “I am not getting a divorce. People are saying I am getting a divorce. Where guys? Marriages go through some things, ups and downs.

So people take what they see, and they run with it. There was just a phase like any other couple. We are not getting a divorce. Things are okay,”

Those words markedly conflict with what Somizi had posted on social media. Somizi had shared a location he said his husband would come from, and it’s not Mohale’s place of origin.

Mohale Motaung Biography 5

Cheating

Mohale Motaung had reportedly cheated on Somizi with a married man who, incidentally, has children. However, Somizi was said to have kept quiet about it all to protect the man’s children. Besides, the unnamed man is said to be wealthy and powerful.

Acting Career

Mohale Motaung, who has often been spoken of about the man he married, wanted an image all his own and took a plunge into acting in 2019.

He made his acting debut in a movie dubbed “Shuga: Down South,” where he played the role of Odirile, a confident, gay economics student.

When he made his acting debut, he was a student at Wits with no previous acting experience. Also, contrary to what many had said at the time, Mohale Motaung insists he did not get the role courtesy of Somizi’s influence.

According to Mohale, acting is something he genuinely loves and dreams of doing. He had taken acting lessons at the State Theatre in Pretoria and been coached by Camilla Waldman.
