It’s a dream fulfilled for South African actor and media personality Mohale Motaung as he finally joins Opulence Radio as a presenter after months of training.
He shared news of this milestone with his fans in a recent post to Instagram. He also thanked those who aided his quest for radio knowledge.
Mohale will be hosting the Opulent Breakfast Show with Pamela Mtanga from 6 am to 9 am, Monday to Friday. In his post, he’d encouraged his fans to tune in every day.
Before his radio adventures, Mohale was an actor. He was previously married to Somizi Mhlongo. After a brief and happy period, the marriage had faced seriously crisis and ultimately grounded to a halt.
Serious trouble began when an audio in which Mohale claimed Somizi had abused him was leaked. South Africa was incredulous over what was revealed in the audio. This had led to Somizi stepping down briefly from his presenting gig at YFM.
Also, the revelation had led to his exit from reality television show Idols SA. At the time, he was said to have taken leave from the show to fix his personal issues. But it was soon announced that he won’t be returning to the show. The ratings for the show plummeted as a result.
