Mr Jazziq Celebrates Making GQ South Africa Cover Despite Poor Academic Background

Amapiano producer Mr Jazziq os the cover bod for the current issue of GQ magazine and he couldn’t be happier for the honour, especially know how he started and wasn’t really great in school.
But music was his calling and he pushed that with every energy in him, The result speaks for itself. He is now one of the most successful amapiano producers in South Africa, and he isn’t done yet.
In a post on his official Instagram page, where he has 1.8 million followers, the songster noted that, growing up, he had most of his style inspiration from GQ magazine, and that it is a humbling experience to finally make the cover of the prestigious mag.
By his account, he can’t wait for others to listen to his story and be inspired by it. If he could achieve it deposit his “humble” background and despite having failed grade 11 twice, then others can achieve something similar as well. Mr Jazziq was formerly part of a two-man band called JazziDisciples. The friends split a while back and have been pursuing solo careers since, with Mr Jazziq seemingly the most prominent.
