Here are the nominees for the MTV Africa Music Awards 2020.

2020 is slowly coming to an end and everyone is looking to finish strong. Although the pandemic really hit us hard, the music industry received some very beautiful music releases. Artists from all over Africa created and released amazing music even though tours were restricted.

The MTV Africa Music Awards is looking to celebrate some of the biggest artists of the year who made the most impact. Some of the nominees for the awards have been announced and they’re looking pretty good. This year, the awards ceremony will be happening in Kampala, Uganda on February 20th, 2021. That’s something to look forward to.

Nigerian Afro beats star, Tiwa Savage seems to be the only woman standing in the “Artist Of The Year Category”. She’s up against Grammy-nominted Burna Boy, Calema, Diamond Platnumz, Master KG, Davido and Wizkid. Mzansi stars, Kabza De Small, Busiswa, Sho Madjozi, Focalistic, Elaine and more also bag nods.
