Major League, formerly a hip hop duo, has ditched the hop for the embrace of amapiano. The same might be said of the solo artiste Focalistic.
Amapiano might be the zeitgeist in South Africa right now, but not everyone is convinced the genre has a long future in the Rainbow Nation. Some think the genre will decline in relevance as quickly as it gained it.
