Mzansi DJ and producer Murdah Bongz celebrates bagging 3 nominations at the forthcoming SAMA29.
Mzansi hitmaker Murdah Bongz has come a long way to be the success he is now. The star owned the scene as a member of the duo Black Motion. They also bagged several accolades for their work.
After separating from the duo to become Mörda, he dropped his solo album “Asante,” and the project earned rave reviews from fans. It spawned the hits “Mohigan Sun,” “Summer Love,” and “Woza Sambe.”
The recently announced SAMA29 nominations saw Murdah bag 3 nominations for the forthcoming awards show.
He is nominated for Best Collaboration for his hit song “Mohigan Sun” featuring Oscar Mbo and Murumba Pitch, Best Dance Album for “Asante,” and Remix of the Year for “Ndinovalo” featuring Yallunder.
The DJ could not hold his joy and took to social media to celebrate the nominations. He wrote, “This hits differently this time around. Thank you, @thesamas_, for the recognition. My first ever nominations as Mörda. What a time to be alive.”
