Murdah Bongz of the South African boy band Black Motion reportedly had a ghastly fall and almost broke his spinal cord. He was declared unresponsive.
Sources close to the musician said he had a fallen down a flight of stairs while shooting a music video with DJ Speedsta, Afrotainment boss DJ Tira and other notable figures in South African music. He had to be rushed to a hospital where he met an orthopedic surgeon.
After the meeting he was told that he was lucky as the accident could have been worse. At any rate, he was also advised to take it easy on stage in order not to strain his neck.
Since the news of the fall broke, fans of the songster have been wishing him a quick recover. The good wishes are still pouring in.
By the way, Murdah Bongz is the boyfriend of celebrated DJ and singer DJ Zinhle. So far, she’s yet to make a public statement or post regarding the accident. But then she must have reached out to him privately.
