Musa Keys On Not Winning The Grammy Despite Nomination

It was a close call for South African singer Musa Musa., who was nominated for the Grammy in the Best African Music Performance category for his collaborative “Unavailable” song with Nigerian singer Davido.

It was a close call because while he was nominated, he ultimately didn’t win the award. A compatriot of his, Tyla, won it for her “Water” hit.

But Musa Keys is unbothered by him not having won the award. The fact that he was nominated was significant enough, and he appreciated that a lot. He describes himself as a proud and happy young man from Giyani who is grateful to have been nominated.

Of course, his nomination alone carries some prestige, as he will now be called a Grammy-nominated artist. You can check out the post below.

M USA Keys is one of South Africa’s notable creatives, wearing the toga of both rapper and singer. And yes, he is good at both. “Unavailable,” a song for which Davido co-opted him, turned out to be one of the biggest hits in Nigeria last year.

In fact, such is the potency of the song that it is still being enjoyed across Nigeria today. Well, for Musa Keys. life must go on
