Muzi’s appearance on the jägermeister “Save The Night” initiative births new track “Tumelo” in under one hour.
Imagine featuring on a show and having the time of your life doing what you love. That was Muzi’s story appearing on “Save The Night”. The Genre-fluid SA DJ created a brand new song from scratch in under one hour. That was with the help of 26 contributors.
The track titled “Tumelo”, named after the drop-in host Tumelo Peane features contributions from 26 people in the Zoom Room. Speaking about it in a recent post on Instagram, he revealed that it was a priceless moment.
Tumelo Peane had booked the record producer for the Drop-in and acted as the host. For the record, he’s situated in Lüneburg, Germany. The “Save The Night” meister drop-in is created to allow fans book their favourite artist and have them perform and just hang with them. The virtual parties are paid for by Jägermeister.
“MUZI and his team ran this idea past us and we were excited for the concept to unfold, but we had no idea how exceptional both the experience and the end result would be!”
