Since 2023, Tyla has been making South Africa proud. The famous singer, who first gained attention with the hit song “Getting Late,” took over the world after her song “Water” went viral on social media.
The Water Dance Challenge was so big that it pushed the song to chart in various parts of the world. Tyla also performed on the biggest stages and TV shows and gained the attention of prominent stars all over the world.
She recently made history when she won the first-ever “Best African Music Performance” at the Grammys on Sunday. She beat out artists including Asake, Olamide, Davido, Musa Keys, and her gal pal, Ayra Starr.
Mzansi has taken to social media to celebrate Tyla’s big win. She also became the youngest African singer to win a Grammy at 22.
