Popular Mzansi DJ and producer Mobi Dixon was reportedly hospitalized after being involved in a car crash.
Fans of popular hitmaker Mobi Dixon are sending prayers for the DJ’s quick recovery. According to a report by The Citizen, the “City Rain” star was involved in an accident that occurred on Grayston Drive in Sandton at around 8 pm.
The publication goes on to report that the accident happened when a Quantum carrying equipment skipped a traffic light and collided with the DJ’s vehicle as he attempted to turn off the highway. Dixon’s management also released a statement via his official social media pages announcing the unfortunate incident.
The statement read,
“After an unfortunate car incident, Mobi Dixon is receiving the best medical care. We’d like to thank the medical team for their support and professionalism, as well as the family and friends who have been with him through this difficult time.”
They further called on fans and the media to give the DJ the space he needs to recover. They asked them for privacy and patience till the DJ is back on his feet. Dates for Mobi Dixon’s shows have also been cancelled, and new dates will be announced in the future.
