DJ Zinhle, who had a daughter with AKA, has just released a tribute to her former lover, and it had many South Africans in tears.
In her post on her verified Instagram page, the mother of two noted that she would have given anything for the slain rapper to spend much more time with her father. But alas, life happened and Kiernan is no more.
She also noted the loss was not only Kairo’s but AKA’s lover at the time of his death, Nadia Nakai’s, as well. It was a big loss to several other people, including his family and fans. DJ Zinhle is especially pained because her daughter Kairo might occasionally ask questions about AKA and she would have no answers to them.
She also recalled having a conversation with AKA and seeing that the SupaMega was happy with the way she was co-parenting Kairo Forbe with her (Zinhle’s) new husband, Murdah Bonz. You can check out the post below.
AKA was shot dead on 19 February just outside Wish Restaurant in Durban, sending shockwaves across South Africa. An investigation into his killing is currently ongoing, with one thing already established: He was assassinated.
But who ordered the hit?
That is one question time will likely answer.
