Mzansi Enraged by Tyla & Black Coffee Stardom Comparison

Mzansi is enraged by recent comparisons between Grammy winners Tyla and Black Coffee.

“Water” star Tyla has been killing it since last year. Her song went viral on social media and dominated charts all over the world. Her debut album “TYLA” has also been a raging success with fans saying only good things about it.

The Grammy-winning singer has been endorsed by some of the world’s biggest stars including Beyoncé. Unfortunately, Tyla’s fame has caused her to be pitted against her industry colleagues. Briefly News reported that the singer was compared to Uncle Waffles, with some saying she was way bigger than the “Tanzania” hitmaker.

A recent clip from a podcast sees the host talking about Tyla and Black Coffee’s fame and comparing them. They claimed that Tyla’s appearance at the Mall of Africa showed that no one in the history of SA had achieved that. They also claimed that she’s bigger and more influential than Black Coffee.

Mzansi was enraged by these claims. Elle_Mahri reacted, “They’re kids, I know, research matters. Brenda Fassie was the biggest superstar. Don’t take my word, ask the parents. Trust me, Brenda was larger than life.”

Lordofthe2000 replied, “No one in South Africa touches Cassper Nyovest in terms of superstar level.”

kekemashile slammed them, writing, “These kids must stop speaking about what they don’t know.”
