Season 5 of the 1Magic telenovela The River is here, and already, South Africans are salivating.
The last season of the show ended in what some viewers had called a “bloody” episode, with Cobra and Lindiwe teaming up to eliminate Moohumi, a common adversary, in a river teeming with crocs.
Producers of the show wanted fans on the edge of their seats with the 5th season of the series, and in this, they have likely succeeded. The reason is simple, the reactions to the announcement of season 5 so far have been overwhelmingly positive.
In a post to Instagram, 1Magic had announced the arrival of season 5 of the popular series, clarifying that “Mr. Hadebe” not be alive for the season.so if you’re a fan of that character, you may want to push your devotion somewhere else.
Since it debuted, The River had intrigued viewers and kept them glued to their screens. And from the look of things, viewers are going to remain glued until the producers decided to terminate the show – which is unlikely anytime soon.
The telenovela opens to the viewers the worlds of greed and betrayal involving the Mokoenas and the Dlaminis. Which triumphs ultimately, viewers will find out soon.
