Mzansi Fans Threaten To Boycott Uncle Waffles’ New Campaign Because She Previously Identified As Swati

Mzansi fans have threatened to boycott Uncle Waffles’ KFC campaign because she identified as Swati in her BET Nomination.

Uncle Waffles is one of the biggest names in Africa right now. The star came under fire following her BET Nomination when she identified as Swati. Her Mzansi fans did not forget and have threatened to boycott her new campaign with KFC dubbed Hack the Streets.

About the campaign, the “Tanzania” star said, “Being able to show fans my journey in music and life is both extraordinary and humbling. Watch for the clues, visit the landmarks, find the scannable QR codes, get the UW Burger to secure the bag, and maybe even win an exclusive Uncle Waffles experience with KFC or some limited KFC x Uncle Waffles merch. Find it. Scan it. Shop it. Share it.”

Mzansi fans took to X to blast the star for needing them now.

@Rrmagoo wrote, “Take it to Swaziland, we don’t need it.”

@Valazat – “They should remove it from the menu. Unnecessarily overhyped.”

@Ori_RSA “If we are being honest and not biased, this KFC Uncle Waffles burger must be sold in Eswatini only. More especially for someone who doesn’t identify as a South African.”
