Mzansi Hopeful To Host F1 Races At Kyalami Circuit
South Africans are hopeful to F1 races to be hosted in Kyalami circuit. They have set their eyes on the South African Grand Prix 2023. Hopefully.
Fans of F1 racing in South Africa are excited following some news shared by Sky Sports F1. According to an article by the sports news outlets, Formula 1 boss, Stefano Domenicali confirmed that Las Vegas and Africa could hold races in the future.
According to the article, Domenicali “also referenced Africa as a potential market to grow”. Following a suggestion by Lewis Hamilton that South Africa’s Kyalami circuit (which hosted in 1993) should be back in F1, it has become an option.
“There is a lot of interest there. For sure that’s another area that so far is missing in the geography of our calendar.” Domenicali is quoted saying. The trends list have since been dominated by reactions to it after the article was published. Let’s all keep our fingers crossed.
