Mzansi Mourns Late Motsweding FM Presenter Tumi Moetsi

Motsweding FM presenter Tumi Moetsi, popularly known as Mamane Tumi, is dead, a family spokesperson has revealed in a statement. He cause of death was not revealed at the time, however. She was 38.

Dede Letsoge, the family spokesperson, noted the loss was a source of great sadness for the family. He added that her funeral arrangements will be announced soon.

The news of her passing sent a wave of mourning across social media, with those who knew her professionally detailing fine memories of her passing and her passion for her job as a presenter.

Prior to her death, she had hosted shows like Bana ba Motsweding and the Sunday School.

By the way, Tumi Moetsi’s death comes exactly five months after another presenter of the station, Kabelo ‘KB’ Molopyane, died. Molopyane had joined the station in 2002 and hosted some key programmes at the station.

With Tumi Moetsi recently announced dead, some social media users are wondering what could be responsible for Motsweding FM losing two presenters in six months. She will be sorely music for her contribution to South Africa’s radio orbit.
