It’s been since months since Mandfla “Mampintsha” Maphumulo died, but his wife Babes Wodumo is still standing strong in her remembrance of him. This much she proved again by sharing a sweet post about the former Big Nuz member on her official Instagram page.
The “Gqom Queen” noted in her post that she was about to leave for a gig when a local sports station shared a tribute to her late husband on television. She captured that moment and shared it with her fans.

Mampintsha died on Christmas Eve last year after what was then said to be a mild stroke. It was a death many had not seen coming, and it has a particularly pathetic note to it, as the musician’s mother died soon after.
Mampintsha was one of South Africa’s notable music voices until his death. Not only was he a singer and record producer, he also owned a record label as well West Ink was home to a couple of musicians, including tDistruction Boyz.
