Mzansi reacts in shock after Cindy Makhathini shared she bought herself a R400k Cherry Omoda C5, because she previously said she couldn’t drive.
It is truly a time of new cars for some of SA’s celebs. A couple of days ago, Tamia Mpisane took to social media and showed off a brand new Mercedes Benz G-Wagon gifted her by her husband, Andile Mpisane, after they welcomed their second child. The national wife, Mbalenhle Mavimbela, also announced that she had bought her first car, a Mercedes Benz.
Taking to her Instagram page, Cindy Makhathini shared photos of her brand new car, a Cherry Omoda C5 that reportedly cost over R400k. She shared in the captions,
“I have no words, honestly. I just came back from fetching my first car!”
In a report by Briefly News, Cars.co.za writes that “the price tag on the car is an attractive R447 900. Auto Trader offers the C5 at R479 900 and can go up to a considerable R599 960.”
Also, Netizens were suspicious of the new car because Makhathini had previously stated that she can’t drive. AndyMcDusty wrote, “I bet she’s just promoting the car, the Omoda is quite new in SA. They’ll take their car back in 6 months. Congratulations on the sponsorship though.”
