Ntsiki Mazwai is seemingly back to her controversial ways after making remarks about one of those accused of killing the late South African footballer Senzo Meyiwa.
Meyiwa was gunned down in the home of his then-girlfriend Kelly Khumalo in Vosloorus back in 2014. An investigation has been on since to root out the killers and prosecute them. Five men are currently standing trial for Senzo’s murder. They have insisted on their innocence so far.
In a post on her official X account, she faulted the handling of the case in court, noting that it was not in the place of the security guards to tell the accused that they were not free men. As far as she was concerned, their action was an act of bullying – typical, in her opinion, of how blacks treat blacks.

Ntsiki Mazwai stands out for her controversial opinion, so her recent view about the accused in the Senzo Meyiwa murder case is in no way surprising – certainly not to those who know her well enough. It remains to be seen where the case will lead.
