Local rapper Jub Jub’s threat to shut down Woolworths has led to his compatriots trolling him on social media. Woolworths is one of the biggest retail chains in South Africa – a place of luxury and so much more.
The current controversy started after the “Indikokhele (Remake)” hitmaker took to his Instagram stories to threaten the brand. He threatened that the brand shouldn’t “try” him, or he would close all its stores across South Africa.
Many of his fans took the threat seriously enough to screenshot and share it on other platforms, including X (formerly Twitter). This gave traction to what he said. And, of course, many South Africans had a lot to say about his threat.
Many found his threat patently fun and they made fun of him and his threat, wondering if he imagined Woolworths was Uyajola 99 ( the popular reality show he hosts). Some think he is overestimating his own powers. You can check out the post below.

Well, if nothing else, Jub Jub has at least made his thoughts known. The trouble is that he failed to go into details about the threat. So fans still had no clue what he threatened Woolworths. Maybe time will reveal just that.
