These are not the best of times for South African actress Zahara, who is currently down with liver complications, according to multiple reports.
She had reportedly been in a private hospital for weeks over liver failure. at some point, according to reports, she was rushed to the intensive care unit (ICU), indicating her case might be critical.
Allegedly, her liver is severely scarred and she might need a liver transplant to live a normal life again. Her family members are said to be present with her at the hospital to support her. Her fans have also been praying for and wishing her a quick recovery.
While South Africans are worried about her health challenges and have been wishing her well, controversial music executive NOTA Baloyi couldn’t be more indifferent.
Known for having an opinion on anything and everything, NOTA had something to say about her illness on his official X account. He criticised her and claimed that she was hooked on alcohol, which resulted in her recent health scare. He can’t understand how she is just 40 and has already “ruined her life” through her drinking.
Of course, his opinion takes nothing away from the wave of goodwill from South Africans, who have been praying for her quick recovery. Hopefully, she actually recovers pretty soon.
