Mzansi is talking about Kamo Mphela’s booking fee.
Kamo Mphela has risen to be one of the biggest names in the SA music industry. She is not only known for her hits, and her dance steps, she is also famous for always putting on a show everytime she hits the stage to perform.
The “Squander Remix” star has been the talk of social media after Twitter uncovered the cost of booking her for a show. Apparently, it costs a minimum of R35k to book Kamo. This does not include travel and accommodation. She usually comes with 4 other people, her manager, two dancers and a DJ.
Mzansi has since weighed in on this. Some believe that, due to the kind of performance she delivers, the pay is too small for someone like her. A few others have called the price “fair”, while the majority believes that she should charge way more than that.
