Nadia Nakai Announced As Co-Host Of 10th AFRIMMAAwards, Shares Her Excitement

South African rapper Nadia Nakai has just snagged a spot as co-host of the upcoming African Muzik Magazine Awards  (AFRIMMA) – her first hosting gig this year. Understandably, she is very excited about the new role.

Taking to her official Instagram page, the “Yass Bitch” rapper had shared a flyer of the event, noting in the caption that she was super excited to be a co-host (with Nigeria’s Basket mOuth (real name Bright Okpocha)) of the upcoming award.

The event will be held on September 17 in Dallas, Texas, United States. By her own admission, she can’t wait to be at the event and to see her fans as well. You can check out her post below.

Last we checked, her post had been liked over 3k times. The responses were positive too, as fans congratulated her on the gig and wished her similar engagements in the future.

The gig comes at a very important time in the rapper’s life, when she is trying not to remember the tragic blow life dealt on her with the assassination of her boyfriend, the celebrated rapper AKA. The songster was shot at point-blank range on February 10 this year just after stepping out of Wish Restaurant in the company of some of his associates.
