Nadia Nakai opens up about recent SAMA snub and says “these awards don’t really mean sh*t”.
As much as the recent South African Music Awards 2020 nominations have made a lot of artists happy, it has also angered many. This time, artists aren’t the only ones who are vexed by the nominations, fans are too and they’ve taken to social media to voice their complaints.
Mzansi rapper, Nadia Nakai is the latest artist to open up about her SAMA snub. In conversations with her followers, she revealed that she submitted her album for consideration but it didn’t get nominated. She also stated that it would be the last time she does that.
She also stated that she has been around for so long to know that Awards don’t mean “sh*t”. Nakai also affirmed her confidence in the quality of her album. She is the latest celeb to bash award shows like DJ Maphorisa did a few days back.
