Nadia Nakai Talks AKA’s Death, His Spiritual Journey, Her Grief & So Much More – Watch

His is one murder so gruesome it resonates to this day. But then, the recollections about Kiernan “AKA” Forbes are mostly positive, from fans right down to those closest to him, including Nadia Nakai, the lady he was dating at the time of his assassination on February 10.

AKA had just stepped out of Wish Restaurant on Florida Road in Durban in the company of his associates, including his former manager, Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane, who, sadly, was also shot dead.

Well, speaking during a recent appearance on the L-Tido Podcast (Episode 7), she dwelled on several subjects, including the life of her late lover, as well as his spiritual journey up to the moment leading to his death.

She described AKA as an amazing guy while also noting that he believes in God and was likely closer to Him in the period leading to his death. Now she believes he is right next to God and balling with the host of heaven.

She also touched on the month following AKA’s death and how rough it was for her and the Forbes family, as they had to remove his things from his rented Bryanston mansion. Also. She noted that her friends and AKA’s mother stayed with her for a month at her apartment. It was like they had her on suicide watch.
