South African actress and singer Nandi Maddia is one woman with an abiding love for her role as a mother, celebrating her kids every opportunity she gets. So it was;t surprising when she went all out to celebrate her son Shaka when he turned 7 years old recently.
The kid was named after one of the greatest kings of the Zulus, King Shaka – “thunder while sitting, son of Menzi!” You got the poetic reference, right?
Anyway, as is her tradition, Nandi Madida took to her official Instagram page, where she posted a slide celebrating her kid. Part of the slides she shared showed Shaka as a kid and crawling and when he had grown up into his current age. In one of the slides, he could be seen dancing. In another, he is holding hands with his sister.
Mostly, though, the slides showed the creative side of him – busy painting and having a wonderful time at it. This is but one of several times when Nandi had shown off her son’s painting. In the caption to her post, she affirmed her love for the kid, pointing out that he has been an absolute joy.
She should know as his mother, yes?
