Nasty C Nominated For African Entertainment Awards USA Alongside Sarkodie, K.O., Others

South African trapper Nasty C has just been nominated for the best hip hop/ rap artist in the United States. His nomination for the African Entertainment Awards USA (AEAUSA) places him in the same category as fellow South African K.O. and Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie.

Sarkodie and Nasty C being nominated for the same award is all shades of interesting, and more likely than not, Nasty C’s fans will be looking forward to their man winning the award. A win for him might give them reasons to take a jab at Sarkodie, who had ahead a public spat with the South African in the past.

The artists mentioned above are not the only ones nominated for the award, however. The complete list of nominees is given below.

The nomination is especially symbolic for Nasty C, as it comes at a time when his blessings are multiplying before his very eyes. He has just released a new album, “I Love It Here.” He is also expecting a child with his girlfriend Sammie Heavens.

Well, being a nominee does not necessarily translate to being a winner. It will be interesting to see which of the nominees will eventually go home with the award. Stay tuned.
