Award winning rapper, Nasty C opens up on what led to him getting signed into Def Jam records.
The South African rapper achieved a major milestone when the news broke that the rapper had been signed to Def Jam, a record label which housed the likes of Rihanna, Frank Ocean and Justine Bieber.
The singer further made statements with the release of his “There they go” single. By the virtue of this move the rapper has officially put the South African rap industry on an international level.
Nasty C in explaining how he got the big deal, said he had been pushing it for a long while and anytime he traveled to the US he always makes sure he went to radio stations and urged Deejays to put his song out there, while also receiving validations from international artists he had collaborated with, he said this helped him get validation from the label.
