A new year is almost here. How did the artistes fare on stre3aming platforms, especially on Spotify? What are the top 10 most streamed South African hip hop songs in 2020? Come along, peeps.
Apparently the “Zulu Man With Some Power” Nasty C has got real power. Really, one can’t begrudge him the adopted title of his last studio album as the songster managed to snap the No. 1 spot as the most streamed. He clinched the spot with his song “Eazy.” (1,139,194 streams).
Next on the list is your SupaMega or AKA. He sits at No. 2 with his song “Energy” (423,466 streams). Other artistes on the list are Riky Rick (“Ungazincishi ,” 408,815 stream,” Cassper (“Amademoni,” 393,259 streams), Stogie T (“Dunno,” 310,838 streams), Big Zulu (“Imali Eningi,” 254,589 streams), and A-Reece (“Residual Image” 195,059 streams.
Strutting fiercely below the above are Costa Titch (“Thembi,” 191,887 streams), Focalistic (“Ke Star,” 168,179 streams) and Emtee (“Johustleburg,” 146 307).
It is clear Nasty C is the man of the list. He is far ahead in streaming numbers than anyone else on the list. Now that’s a Zulu man with some power.
