It is often said that it takes experience to understand something and to be in a position to advise others on the same. This is probably the reality with “Yizo Yizo” star Meshack Mavuso, who has just dropped some alcohol and financial advice to those who would listen.
In a clip currently making the rounds online, the actor had advised his listeners to stop buying alcohol. Netizens found the admonition hilarious because, according to some of them, the advice is “off,” coming from someone who is always on alcohol TV.
In another part of the clip, he noted that if people were to save the money they spend on buying alcohol, they would end up buying more alcohol. It was more of a dip in contrasts and contradictions, something that wasn’t lost on many X users, who laughed out loud.

At the time of writing, Mavuso had not said anything about the reactions his video elicited. More likely than not, he wouldn’t dwell on that. But then, he has at least achieved one thing: provoked laughter in a section of social media.
