Musicians having a beef is nothing novel. it is not something that started yesterday and certainly not something anyone should expect to end tomorrow. If you should ask some industry watchers, they would tell you that beef among musicians charges up the industry for good, leading to the release of new, vibrant jams.
We are not here to dwell on the veracity of that claim or not but to inform you that rappers Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion are back on the warpath again. This is especially interesting as the ladies used to be chill and have even collaborated previously.
But neither of them is thinking along those lines right now with the escalation of hostilities between them. The latest round of hostilities reportedly began online with sneak hisses and disses. Each seemingly knew what the other was doing, and was responding accordingly.
The Stallion rode her stallion into the fight arena with her “Hiss” track of Friday. In that song, Ninaj felt a shot was aimed at her husband. So she erupted with a response track in which she addressed Thee Stallion directly, “Big Foot.”
It remains to be seen how long until the two end the latest round of fighting
