Nightbirde, ‘America’s Got Talent’ star, passes away at 31

Nightbirde, the singer who won millions over with her music during her performance on “America’s Got Talent,” has passed away. Sadly, she was only 31.

Nightbirde, real name Jane Marczewski, was already a breast cancer survivor but had cancer in her spine, liver and lungs, with a slim 2% chance of survival when she auditioned for “AGT.”

Before Jane’s passing, she made jaws drop in 2021 with her performance of her original song “It’s OK” on the NBC talent competition, and moved so many with her touching story.

“It’s important that everyone knows I’m so much more than the bad things that happen to me,” Marczewski explained to judges Howie Mandel, Simon Cowell, Sofia Vergara and Heidi Klum, right before getting a standing ovation for her song.

The chorus of her heartwarming song goes a little like this: “It’s OK, it’s OK, it’s OK, it’s OK/If you’re lost, we’re all a little lost and it’s all right.” The video of that performance has so far fetched her 39 million views on YouTube. Same performance of “It’s OK” went on to become a No. 1 song on iTunes.

Nightbirde shut her eyes in death on the 19th of February after being treated for cancer over the course of four years.
