AKA might be dead but he has done so well musically that there are enough projects to remember him by, even in death. Interstingly, although a posthumous album of his was released after his death, he still has unreleased music.
This much was revealed recently in a conversation with some of his fans and associates. It all started after T-Effect Director Nivo tweeted about AKA’s ability to listen to any hip-hop album and point out the numbers that will stand out from the pack.
He further noted that the “Fela in Versace” rapper had the ability to do that all the time. This prompted a fan of the slain rapper to hint at the possibility that AKA left some unreleased song at the time of his death. He also expressed the hope that there is a plan to release the unreleased numbers.
Without being specific, Nivo noted that there would likely be a release of unreleased songs in the coming days. You can check out the tweets below.
AKA was shot dead (point-blank shot to the head) just outside Wish Restaurant on Florida Road in Durban on February 10. An investigation into his death is ongoing but his killers are yet to be found.
