No Bad Vibes: Proverb Replies Ntsiki Mazwai Over ProKid Comparison

Motswako rapper ProKid – also called PRO – may be dead and buried, but his legacy isn’t stuttering. Truth be told, there are many out there defending it. Ntsiki Mazwai is one of them.

Mazwai has never hidden her fondness for PRO,who she was pretty close to until his death. Now she uses every opportunity to defend him and his place in the universe of South African music and entertainment. To her, PRO was the very best out there, and no star comes close in radiance.

Recently, she stated that PRO was incredibly gifted and no rapper in South Africa is comparable in lyrical proficiency and stage presence. Ultimately she described him as the best South African had ever known.

Some fans dropped Proverb’s name as an equally good rapper. Ntsiki Mazwai laughed it off, saying Proverb had nothing on PRO. She added that Proverb, who raps in English, does not stand for anything.

When fans contact proverb about Ntsiki Mazwai’s statement, he simply said he had no comments to make. That may have ended the case.
