No-Show: Makhadzi’s Absence At Wedding Party Angers Businessman

A businessman named Makgobate Letsoalo has denounced popular Venda artiste Makhadzi for not performing at a show for which he had been paid.

The “Kokovha” singer had reportedly been paid R35k to perform at a wedding but only showed up after the wedding was over. According to Makgobate Letsoalo, speaking to Sunday world,  a week before the wedding, Makhadzi had contacted him that her Venda gig had been canceled. So they started negotiating ad agreed on R35k.

Continuing, he had noted that on the day o the wedding Makhadzi’s team had phoned to say that they would be arriving by 2 am the following day. But Makhadzi arrived by 1 am when the wedding was already over and he was fast asleep.

Since the wedding was already over, he said he told her to come later to perform at a pool party but she never showed up.

He’s angry that Makhadzi never showed up. And he’s insisting that the songstress must refund the money she was paid to perform. He threatened to take the case seriously if the songstress should refuse to make the refund.
