Media personality, Nota Baloyi goes on a lengthy Shimza rant as he calls him out for benefitting from a corrupt government.
Everyday there’s new drama in Mzansi. Majority of the time, controversial media star, Nota Baloyi is at the centre of it all. Baloyi has been in the news so much lately, most recently for his ‘sympathy’ for Kwesta’s broke rumours. However, this time, he’s got a new target in his sight. It is the pace-setting DJ, Shimza who has been starting businesses and creating jobs all over Mzansi.
The Lockdown House Party creator trended heavily after the flier of a ministerial cookout event went viral on social media. It revealed that the event is scheduled to happen at Shimza’s Hang Awt restaurant, with Somizi Mhlongo as the host. According to several Twitter users, both stars are feasting on the national cake, and not sharing with the people.
This prompted a lengthy reaction from Nota who dragged the DJ all over Twitter. He slammed him for not doing a thing to help better Tembisa. According to him, “the crime in Tembisa is tourist deterrent”. He went on to state that he doesn’t have one hit song to his name.
“Shimza doesn’t even have one hit song.Since when is the shit hole Tembisa a tourist attraction? When I visit my family there I have to risk bursting my tires in potholes. The crime in Tembisa is a tourist deterrent. Shimza should’ve thought of this before calling me a “MOESKONT!””
“Fix your corruption, jou moerskont… Tembisa is a shit hole and you can’t even call out the local government for the lack of service delivery because you benefit while our family members in Tembisa live in squalor. Shame on you. Your people are suffering and you celebrate that!”
“Shimza must just do himself a favour and stay away from local election campaigns. We want a new local government administration that’s going to ensure that the people of Tembisa have their dignity restored!”
