Nota Baloyi Might Lose Assets To Shimza After Failing To Pay R200K In Defamation Case

Controversial music executive Nota Baloyi may lose his assets after allegedly failing to pay R200,000 to Shimza in the defamation case.

There are so many people in Mzansi who live to see Nota Baloyi pay for the things he says. The embattled music executive got into hot water after claiming Shimza is a corrupt toy boy on Twitter.

The famous DJ did not take it lightly with him, so he sued Nota to court and won. A judge ruled that Nota would pay Shimza R200,000 in damages. Baloyi agreed to pay the money in installments which he did only twice.

According to a video posted by ThisIsColbert on Twitter, a JHB High Court granted Shimza a writ of execution for Nota’s assets in order to recover R350k. He called Baloyi’s defamatory tweet the most expensive tweet in SA. If this is true, then Nota will lose most of his assets to Shimza.
