NOTA Baloyi is one man who happens to have an opinion on anything and everything and he never shies away from expressing them, no matter what people might think about him. As a result, he has fallen out with some of his associates, antagonized others and even ended up being convicted for contempt of court.
But has that sobered him up? apparently not. If anything, the music executive is still his controversial old self and bold to be. Some of his controversies, including that involving his wife, are interrogated below.
- He claimed that his wife has been possessed by the Illuminati and that he was the one who made her successful as a musician. She contradicted those claims, however, and the two had a messy split.
- He mocked Mihlali Ndamase as unattractive and compared her to a dog. This was one of his most controversial takes and one that provoked an apology from Berita.
- About Dr Nandipha Magudumane, who had allegedly aided Bester as he raped women, he noted that she should be sent to men’s prison so that all men could have their way with her.
- He also had a spat with Lerato Kganyago over single mothers, noting that those women are single because they are just hard to live with.
