Nota Compares AKA’s “Levels” & Kwesta’s “DAKAR II” Numbers, Drops Shocking Verdict

Controversial critic Nota has taken a shot at AKA again, stating that he is far behind in numbers compared to fellow muso and RapLyf boss Kwesta.

Nota, who is loved and hated in equal measure for being too opinionated and for being outspoken on music and pop culture, made his thoughts known in the latest episode (first episode, fifth season) of The Sobering Podcast.

According to Nota, who has annoyed a long list of musos, including Zoocci Coke Dope, Nasty C and Cassper Nyovest, Kwesta, who he managed once upon a time, is the bestselling hip hop act at RCA. In other words, Kwesta is doing better than AKA on Sony Music.

Nota insisted that AKA’s second studio album “Levels” didn’t come close in numbers to Kwesta’s “DAKAR II” album, insisting it took AKA’s album years to reach 300k.”

He explained further: “You know, it’s not yet Diamond. Yes it sold 300,000 copies but because when the album was released in 2014, Platinum was 40 000 not 30,000 and therefore it needs to get to 400,000 copies sold to reach actually Diamond.

It is unknown how AKA, himself a controversial pop figure, will take Nota’s latest sally.
