NOTA on South African Musicians Getting Excited Over Shout out From Rick Ross

Controversial culture critic NOTA has reacted to South African rappers getting excited after a shout out from American rapper Rick Ross.

In a recent clip, Rick Ross had shouted out some notable names in South African music, including Kwesta, Priddy Ugly, Tshego, Cassper and Yanga Chief.

Of all those he shouted out, so far, Cassper Nyovest is the only one that has responded.

Although he didn’t shout out the amapiano producer DJ Maphorisa, the songster had tweeted imploring his fans to ask the American to hop on a remix of his song “Izolo,” noting he wanted to see something.

Never one to hide his thoughts on any subject he feels strongly about, NOTA had responded to DJ Maphorisa, stating people are trying to use shoutouts to revive their careers. You can check out the tweet below.

Of course, there is nothing wrong with artists using shout outs to revive their careers, but there is no evidence e that’s the case with Cassper Nyovest or other musicians Rick Ross mentioned.

Cassper Nyovest has not responded to NOTA’s latest rant. The two of them are not friends and have rarely agreed on anything. In fact, at some point in their public disagreement, Cassper had dismissed NOTA as a scammer.
