NOTA’s Shocking Verdict On Riky Rick’s Cotton Fest

Music executive NOTA has made yet another controversial claim, this time regarding the ownership of CottonFest, a music festival founded by Riky Rick.

Speaking during the Nkululeko n Cultr Podcast, NOTA  claimed that the festival was founded by white folks who used the face of Riky Rick to get black artists to perform.

He wasn’t specific and who the supposed white folks are but stated that the festival would go on even with Riky Rick’s death because the whites are behind it.

Riky Rick hung himself in February this year after allegedly suffering from depression for a while. His death shook the industry as many didn’t see it coming. But the Boss Zonke himself had given clues about the state of his mind.

He may have died, but CottonFest continued, as usual, this year, featuring a mix of hip hop and amapiano artists, including Cassper Nyovest.

It’s unclear if NOTA is telling the truth, as he had been forced to apologise for lying in the past. Maybe time will tell?

You can check out the detailed interview below. There was also a part where he claimed Cassper used steroids in his boxing match against fellow musician Naakmusiq. Will Cass reply to him?
