Controversial poet and activist Ntsiki Mazwai remembers the late Anele Tembe with a screenshot of AKA breaking through the door in the infamous video.
It has been three years since AKA’s former girlfriend Anele Tembe passed away and the country has not forgotten about her. According to reports, Tembe died on 11 April 2021 after falling to her death from a hotel balcony in Cape Town.
She is said to have had a tumultuous relationship with her boyfriend at the time, AKA who was accused by most of being the cause of her death. However, he was not implicated in her death. Some believe that his murder is linked to the death of Anele which he did not get implicated for.
On the third anniversary of Nelli Tembe’s death, “Moya” podcast host Ntsiki Mazwai shared a screenshot from the video where AKA was seen tearing through the door and charging toward the person with the camera, and captioned it “We haven’t forgotten. RIP Anele Tembe.”
Netizens reacted in shock to the post. Sakunabi wrote, “He’s dead, what more justice do you want?”
