Controversial poet and anti-GBV advocate Ntsik Mazwai has dragged her compatriot and musician DJ Zinhle for making her daughter, Kairo Forbes, perform AKA’s songs on stage.
Days ago, many South Africans smiled and some got teary with emotions when Kairo Fobes popped onto the stage with her mother and performed some of her late father’s songs. The majority of those who saw the clip were pleased with it.
Not Ntsiki Mazwai. The intensely divisive figure faulted DJ Zinhle for the decision to bring her daughter on stage. Reacting to a tweet by a Twitter user who had commended Kairo Forbes for her courage to perform on stage alongside adults, Ntsiki Mazwai noted that a lot of celebs have kids but their children don’t belong on stage/. You can check out her tweet below.

At the time of writing, DJ Zinhle had not responded to Ntsiki Mazwai. It is doubtful she would anyway given how she picks her battles these days and does not necessarily engage everyone that tries to drag her for one reason or the other.
Kairo Forbes is the product of DJ Zinhle’s relationship with AKA, who was murdered on February 10 this year alongside his former manager Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane.
