One thing that shouldn’t be in doubt at this point is that the fashions and attires of times past can still be brought back to life – reigniting interest in the past and the winds of its fashion. This reality manifests sporadically, with the most recent happening only days ago at the 66th Grammy Awards.
For a little background, certainly, many fashion buffs can still remember actress Elizabeth Hurley in the famous Versace dress held from top to bottom with safety pins. The dress was created back in 1994. Since then, there have been iterations of that dress worn by different people.
At the 66th Grammy Awards, singer Olivia Rodrigo walked the path of the past by rocking a cream, thin-strap dress with red beading – something in the tradition of what supermodel Linda Evangelista had rocked back in 1995, exactly three years before Olivia was born.
It must be said that she looked stunning, even though it wasn’t the same attire from the 1990s. And did she snag the attention of the public with the dress! You can check out the image below.
The Grammy Awards has come and gone, but the memories of that day are still pretty fresh and will be so for a long time to come.
