American star Pamela Anderson went make-up-free to the 2023 Fashion Awards in London.
Pamela Anderson is challenging norms and doing what she wants. Indeed, she has nothing left to prove. Anderson has often been spotted without makeup and recently attended the Fashion Awards in London barefaced.
She shared in a previous interview with Elle that she stopped wearing makeup because of her makeup artist, Alexis Vogel, who passed away from breast cancer. She also told the publication that Vogel “was the best,” “and since then, I just felt, without Alexis, it’s just better for me not to wear makeup.”
When asked how it felt to live make-up-free, she said it was “freeing,” “fun, and a little rebellious, too.”
She further explained, “Because I did notice that there were all these people doing big makeup looks, and it’s just like me to go against the grain and do the opposite of what everyone’s doing.”
In an interview with Today, she revealed that she’s been challenging herself to live beyond people’s expectations. “I think challenging ourselves is what keeps us young and beautiful. And I think, really genuinely, beauty comes from within, and you don’t have to play the game,” Anderson told the publication.
