Everyone falls ill, but not everyone gets to receive well wishes and prayers when they fall sick. You can count Travis Barker among those people clearly care about – at least kid Cudi cares for him.
In a recent tweet, Cudi had expressed his love for the Blink-182 drummer while also letting him know he has the drummer in his prayers. The tweet, made on June 28, has been liked over 15k times and retweeted over 600 times.
The genesis of Kid Cudi’s concern and prayer was Tavis Barker’s hospitalization for pancreatitis. A colonoscopy had reportedly triggered the issue, forcing the drummer to seek treatment in a hospital.
Accompanied by his wife, Kourtney Kardashian, whom he married in Italy last month, Travis Barker had gone to West Hills Hospital on Tuesday morning, from where he was taken by ambulance to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
“Travis I love u and im prayin for u,” Cudi had tweeted verbatim, but some tweeps were unimpressed with the use of just “Travis,” asking him for clarification as there is more than Travis on the music scene who is just as famous – Travis Scott, for instance.
Anyway, Travis Barker is said to be recovering well in the hospital. More details soon.
