MZansi media personality Pearl Thusi has come under severe flak for posting only one of her daughters while informing her fans that she’s missing the kid.
Pearl is known to be a mother of two, her biological daughter Thandolwethu and her adoptive daughter Okuhlekonke. In a post on her verified Instagram page, she shared only Thandolwethu’s picture and noted in the comment that she was really missing her human.
Some Instagram users were taken aback by the post, as, according to them, it indicated she doesn’t care much about the daughter she adopted. As far as some were concerned, she doesn’t love the younger kid she adopted.
However, her core fans were in the comments to defend her as well. Some of them noted that her not posting Okuhlekonke’s photo was her way of protecting her from trolls.
A previous report indicated that Pearl Thusi has not even told the story of how she adopted Okuhle, so she is doing all she can to protect the kid from social media trolling. And if that includes not posting her alongside her biological daughter, so be it.
By the way, at the time of writing, she had not replied to most of the trolls in her comment section.
