The Cotton Fest music festival had the attention of South Africans recently as it brought together musicians of several stripes on the same stage, including Emtee.
Since he is known to have a big crush on the actress Pearl Thusi, many expected she would show up for his performance because the event was held in her hometown of Durban.
For whatever reason, though, Pearl Thusi did not make it to the event, and fans did notice. Many expected she would turn up at least to support the rapper, who has a big crush and has even dedicated a song to her.
To somehow compensate for that miss, she noted in a post on her Instagram story that it was heartbreaking to have missed the rapper’s set. A couple of broken-heart emojis conveyed that message.
Interestingly, while Pearl Thusi missed Emtee’s set at Cotton Fest, she was at Big Zulu’s. The Inkabi Record boss even serenaded her during his set, which was captured on camera and has since gone viral online.
Pearl Thusi is known to have a crush on Big Zulu and has flirted with him online previously. But he hasn’t exactly shown similar energy to Emtee, whondeddixyws a song to him when he was at Ambitiouz Entertainment.
