PH Raw X Speaks Out For Makwa

In a recent social media post, South African music producer Makwa had detailed how his love for music died. Apparently the contributions of the producer to the making of an artiste and his works are barely acknowledged in South Africa.

PH Raw X, himself a music producer of South African provenance, acknowledged Makwa’s pain in a Instagram video. Speaking on Makwa’s take on how the industry treats producers, PH Raw X had stated that the industry ought to do something to protect them (producers).

He credited producers with giving creative ideas to artistes where no existed initially. Unfortunately, according to him, – like 90 percent of the time – there are no incentives foor the producers. Nothing.

Continuing, he said that most times and artiste would leave a song with a producer and disappear for a night of clubbing only to return and find something magically different, charming beyond the expectation of the musician, who would be like, did I really create this.

You can check out the detail on his take on the challenges produers face in South Africa in the accompanying vide. You may as well let us know what you think about it, in the comment section below. Way to go!
